Our story
Welcome to Ascon Skilled Personnel, a family owned and operated business providing skilled teams to key infrastructure projects across Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland.
With 20+ years at the coal face of infrastructure projects in Auckland and Melbourne Australia, Aaron intimately understands the value of having skilled staff with great attitudes for the success of a project. He also knows these people are thin on the ground.
They saw a gap that desperately needed a solution.
And so ASCON was born - A (Aaron) & S (Susan) CONstruction Skilled Personnel.

The Whanganui River is significant to Ascon as the birthplace of Susan Ngeru, our Co-founder.
A note from Aaron & Susan
We are passionate about people. Whakawhanaungatanga (close relationship) underpins our approach to business relationships, including hiring and leading staff. And that commitment extends to nurturing the whole person; skills, mindset, health and wairua (spirit).
